The Antonio Project, founded last year and led by Transylvanian singer and violinist Tóni Szilágyi, is a pioneer of the Hungarian world music and folk music scene. Their music is captivating, heartfelt and fun, with a Carpathian Basin gipsy sound and a Balkan feel, all in a unique style reminiscent of the underground and taverns. It's a rare lucky combination to have both male and female vocalists in the same group, and this is one of the strengths and specialities of the Antonio Project.
