For many years, the general goal of the Duna Art Ensemble has been to take folk dance out of the customary stage format of the genre and to create complex dance theatre performances that carry the marks of authenticity but at the same time their innovative spirit and modernity raise folk dance and folk music to a level equal with contemporary theatre elements. The performance titled Our love, Kalotaszeg of the Duna Art Ensemble has also been created along this concept, evoking in a stage setting the special and unique features of the Kalotaszeg landscape, the wonderful clean air, the rugged hill lines, the coloured fields and pastures and the richness of the special costume and dance that is unique in the world.
