Kormos Banda was formed a year ago, mostly by young musicians from Mera. They have been playing for 8 years and have learned the intricacies of Kalotaszeg traditional music from local musicians. They chose the name "Kormos" to honor the former "Kormos" violist from Mera and to continue the tradition and legacy of Kalotaszeg.
