Tárkány Művek, winner of the Junior Prima award, was founded by the dulcimer player and composer Bálint Tárkány-Kovács. Bálint's melodies, lyrics and performances are made together with his fellow musicians: Borbála Fekete and Júlia Viszkeleti with their wonderful voice, Zsolt Rónai with his virtuoso and sensitive guitar, Márton Fekete and Péter Molnár with their dynamic accompaniment on violin and bass.
In addition to his own texts, Bálint also composes melodies for poems and folk poems. In addition to his original compositions, Bálint's music combines folk music themes with elements of jazz, blues or pop, and sometimes, conversely, he transforms a jazz or pop song with folk instruments.
The band has recorded 5 albums in its 15 years of existence and frequently participates in international festivals in Hungary and abroad.
